HOW WE WILL WORK TOGETHER

Landscape with Animals

I draw on a variety of counselling and psychotherapeutic perspectives when working with clients; we are all unique and I work with each client individually.

My approach is Humanistic/Person-Centred, so the starting point for my work is underpinned by my belief that, given the right support, everyone has the potential for personal growth and increased self-awareness, and that they can thrive in the ways they want.

My aim is to create an environment conducive to exploring together your inner experiences and working through challenges.  I listen carefully and, where appropriate, ask questions, to help clarify what you think, how you feel and what you want - rather than tell you what you think or what to do.  This can foster a deeper understanding of yourself and lead to a greater sense of control and self-governance.

I have worked with clients on issues relating to anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-worth, negativity, identity/image, burnout, feeling stuck, self-sabotaging behaviours, life and career transitions, relationship issues and existential/behavioural problems.

My type and level of training means that I have gained a depth of reflection and understanding that is evident in my work.

I work in-person or over the phone with individuals aged 18 and over - fully qualified, insured and DBS checked.

My office is in a rural setting and separate from my house, with off-street parking.  It is easily accessible by wheelchair.

I am fully compliant with the terms of the Equality Act, which means that I do not discriminate for any reason and welcome all equally.

I offer a free 20-minute, no obligation intro call, where we can start the conversation.  I look forward to hearing from you.
